Delurk

How do you pronounce that?
What does it mean?

De-lurk, that’s what it means, how it’ s pronounced. Bloggers get people who read their blog to announce their presence by ‘de-lurking’, telling us who they are and how long they’ve been reading the blog in question, rather than lurking in the background. All entirely voluntary of course.

Words are funny though, it took me ages to realise that was what Delurk meant; about as long as it took me to realise that Dubya Bush was W Bush, or that Mercan was American (I’m stupid, British and well-spoken!).

Anyway, if the fancy takes you, tell me who you are and how long you’ve been reading my blog, which is still in its infancy of course!

  1. I’m Michael, I live in Oregon with my sister (ohmyseven.com) and I’ve been reading your blog since you posted about mine. Thanks, by the way!

  2. Thanks Michael! But are you the only person reading my blog? :-(
